4.1 Warrant audit
Completion requirements
Take one governing document you rely on — a policy, a runbook, a standing instruction, a status record.
For three claims in it, identify:
- the grounds it rests on
- the qualifier — how confident, and how recently checked
- the rebuttal condition — what would make it false
Mark any claim with no stated rebuttal. Those are the ones that cannot be known to have expired.
Direction check: what problem does this document exist to solve, and how would you know it still does?
500–800 words · about 60–90 minutes.
How you will be graded — aim for Proficient.
| 1 · Emerging | Document summarized. Claims not separated from the text. |
| 2 · Developing | Claims identified with grounds, but no qualifier and no rebuttal condition. |
| 3 · Proficient — target | Three claims examined, each with its grounds, its qualifier (how confident, how recently checked), and its rebuttal condition. Claims with no stated rebuttal are explicitly marked — those are the ones that cannot be known to have expired. |
| 4 · Exemplary | Also rewrites one claim so that it carries its own expiry, and says what triggered the rewrite. |
